Dreama000@home.com posted a query in June 2000 regarding the marriage of John Farley and Susannah Rockwell.

I tried to respond bu tthe e-mail address is no longer valid - so I am sending my response to your site to be posted in case anyone is interested and in case Dreama000 happens to look again.

I read your posting from 2000 regarding a certain John Farley who married Susannah Rockwell. Don't know much about John, other than he was a Reverend in Utica in the 1850's and was from Trenton, NY. He and Susannah had a daughter named Susan Jeanette Farley, who married my gg-grandfather, John H.Hobart Vosburgh, on 6/25/1850. They had two children, Marion E. Vosburgh, (F), and Frank S. Vosburgh, (who is my g-grandfather.)

I believe John's parents were Caleb Farley and Hannah Fisher and were married on 01-27-1772. They had another son named David, who was born on 14 Jun 1817.

I am trying to find out more information about John Farley as well, and whether or not Susan Jeanette Farley had any other brothers or sisters.
